Thomas J. Giblin

Thomas J. Giblin has maintained a practice focus on legal advice and representation of individuals and organizations confronted with complex legal needs.

Mr. Giblin has extensive experience in complex litigation and has litigated some of the most intellectually challenging legal issues which have confronted the courts. He has been trial counsel in cases ranging from being lead counsel for the Plaintiffs in a multiple death disaster case to Plaintiffs counsel in a Four Thousand (4,000) member class action. He was counsel in one of the first cases in New Jersey involving the equitable distribution of lottery winnings. He was trial counsel in one of the largest labor racketeering cases ever to go to trial in the United States.  Recently, Mr. Giblin was the successful trial counsel in a challenge to an award of a public bid contract for reportedly one of the largest senior citizen feeding contracts in the State of New Jersey

Mr. Giblin has also received numerous appointments from the New Jersey Superior Court as a Special Master, Discovery Master, and Receiver in commercial litigation.

Additionally, Mr. Giblin has acted as trial counsel or directed the legal strategy in many other noteworthy labor related cases. He has also served as an alternate commission member of the Office of Collective Bargaining of the City of New York where he endorsed and executed over one hundred decisions involving important issues confronting the City of New York. He also has extensive experience in representing employee benefit funds.

The range of Mr. Giblin’s practice is further directed at the financial advice and transactional needs of individuals and corporations. He has also advised many profit and non-profit corporations and organizations on formation , organizational and governance matters.

As can be seen from his Curriculum Vitae, there is a predominant belief in consistent expansion of his educational qualifications. This continual updating and enhancement of educational qualifications is in addition to the continuing legal education requirements of the Bars of which he is a member.
